After a break of several years, Żegluga Wiślana returned to European waterways to promote houseboating in Poland and discover new routes. Thanks to the support of VETUS - a manufacturer of yacht equipment, including, among others, the engine with which our unit is equipped, we had an amazing journey on the Danube. Start in Komarno on the Slovak-Hungarian border. Along the way, among others, majestic Budapest, the capital of Serbia Belgrade and the famous Iron Gate, i.e. the mountain gorge of the Danube. Then the Romanian-Bulgarian border section and the mouth of the Black Sea on the border with Ukraine in Sulina. Return along the Danube upstream to Serbia, where we entered the Tisza River, which we took through Hungary to Tokaj.
From there, we cruised along the Bodrog through Satoraljaujheli to Slovakia, where our journey ended. In total, almost 3,500 km and three months of incredible river adventure.
